Forcing growth through security research

June 3, 2026

Hello, security blog. It's been quite some time.

I've spent the past few months on security research with relatively solid results. I may write soon about exactly what I've been able to accomplish, but I don't want to burn all my experiences in one post.

What I've been thinking about is that you can sort of force yourself to grow and develop by just... starting.

I'm the type of person who crafts incredibly elaborate plans of action, and I think that methodology has value.

However, there's a certain level of effort required before you decide to spend time studying. This is probably one of life's greatest mysteries. You don't want to spend 100% of your time studying, but you also want to enter things with a relatively strong knowledge base.

I don't really have the answer right now.

I have, however, seen tremendous growth in myself by saying:

"Eh, why not?" or "Eh... I'm sure it's hackable."

Sometimes it is!

In any case, this post wasn't meant to be very long.

If anyone is reading this, I want you to start whatever you're thinking about. Try it for a few days.

If you need to return to the drawing board, that's fine. But start building your empire now!
